We moved to Finavon from Yorkshire in 2004 having decided that Scotland was the place where we would most like to live. Being both self employed with ouir own businesses, we could upsticks and move quite easily, although Phill had to start again with his landscaping company.
We have in the past spoken many times about running a B&B, and especially one which was extremely dog friendly. We found that trying to find somewhere where dogs were happily accepted as part of the family was quite hard, so we decided to turn our home into the B&B where we would most like to go on holiday!!
We also run a very successful tie company called 'Brannie Ties' named after our wonderful son 'Branston' who was our first Golden Retriever who sadly died last year.
In what little spare time he has Phill writes high action thrillers, his first book 'Chasing Stone' was published last year and can be purchased from all good book shops.
